My love and passion for LSA started when my two oldest children, Brynlee and Kruz, went through the program during Libby's first year of teaching in NWA. As a mother, I feared for my children's safety around water. I knew I wanted to equip them with the skills that would give them the best chance for survival if anything were to happen. I quickly learned how LSA set themselves apart from traditional swim lessons and how it could give me the peace of mind I was looking for.

After seeing all my children accomplished in just a matter of weeks, I immediately became an advocate of the program. It wasn't long after my children completed their session that I formally joined Libby in her mission of childhood drowning prevention by becoming LSA's administrator. For years, I worked behind the scenes answering all our parent inquiries, running registration, scheduling and LSA's social media accounts. My passion for LSA has now brought me from behind the scenes and into the water as a maintenance instructor. I love being hands on with the children knowing I'm helping in their continued growth and development of their aquatic education. To this day I'm continually amazed at what these children are capable of at such a young age. This passion turned career has been such a blessing in my life, and I'm so thankful to be a part of such an amazing team of women!
